Why RAC is Different
More Than Guidance. We Follow Things Through.
Rise Again Collective (RAC) takes a hands-on approach to complex situations. We ask questions, follow up, check the details and help keep things moving when the system becomes difficult to navigate.
We also help you understand your options, services and costs so you can make informed decisions and protect your interests along the way.
-
Persistent Follow-Up
We stay involved and help keep things moving.
-
Clear, Practical Guidance
We explain your options in plain language so you know what comes next.
-
Your Interests at the Centre
We look at the whole situation, including services, costs and what genuinely works for you.
real examples of how RAC has helped
Every situation below is based on real client support provided by Rise Again Collective (RAC).
Details have been kept general to protect client privacy, but each example shows what can happen when someone is willing to look closely, ask questions and keep following things through.
-
Protecting a Participant’s Funding
When RAC became involved, a participant’s plan had been significantly depleted through issues including double invoicing and charges against incorrect NDIS line items. RAC reviewed what was happening, followed the issues through and escalated concerns where needed, helping to turn the situation around and better protect the participant’s funding.
-
Preventing a Plan from Being Exhausted
A participant needed additional support for community participation, but getting the necessary evidence took months of persistent follow-up with psychiatrists, psychologists and allied health professionals. RAC kept chasing the documentation and advocating for the participant, helping prevent the existing plan from being exhausted while the matter was worked through.
-
Helping a Family Avoid an Out-of-Pocket Cost
A young participant needed assistive technology that the family may otherwise have needed to purchase themselves. RAC followed the reassessment process closely and helped get the matter resolved in around two weeks, allowing the required support to be addressed through the participant’s plan.

RAC Care Concierge
Practical help, help when life has too many moving parts.
Not every need fits neatly within NDIS or Aged Care funding. RAC Care Concierge is a private service that helps individuals and families organise everyday support, services and practical tasks that can become difficult to manage alone.
Rather than simply pointing you towards a service, RAC can help work out what is needed, find the right support and follow things through.
Aged Care Coordination
Bringing the right supports together, so you don’t have to manage everything alone.
As care needs grow, it can become difficult to keep track of services, appointments and different providers. RAC helps coordinate the moving parts, follow up what needs to happen and keep support around the person organised.
With one point of coordination, individuals and families can spend less time chasing services and have more confidence that the right support is in place.

Common Questions
Am I eligible for NDIS funding?
To be eligible for the NDIS, you generally need to be under 65, live in Australia, be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have a permanent disability that significantly affects your everyday life. If you’re unsure, we can help you understand whether the NDIS is right for you and guide you through the first steps.
What services are available on the NDIS?
NDIS supports vary depending on your individual needs, goals and approved plan. They may include support with daily activities, therapies, assistive technology, community participation and support coordination. RAC can help you understand what is included in your plan and how to use your funding in a way that supports your goals.
What does NDIS funding actually cover?
NDIS funding is designed to support your independence, daily living, and participation in the community. This may include personal care, support coordination, therapies, assistive technology, and community access, depending on your individual needs and goals. We will work that out together.
I feel overwhelmed by the NDIS. Can Lara & James support me?
Yes. Many people come to Lara & James feeling confused, stressed, or unsure where to start. Their role is to reduce that overwhelm by guiding you step by step, explaining things in plain language, and helping you make informed choices so you feel supported, confident, and never alone.
Can RAC help if my situation is complex or I’m not sure where to start?
Yes. You do not need to have everything worked out before contacting RAC. We can help you understand what is happening, identify the options available and work through the next steps with you. Where things are more complex, we take the time to ask questions, follow up and help bring clarity to the situation.
Can someone help me manage and understand my NDIS plan?
Yes and this support can make a huge difference. Support Coordination helps you make sense of your plan, choose the right services, and adjust things when life changes. Our role is to reduce stress, provide clarity, and ensure your plan works for you, not the other way around.
Not sure what the next step should be?
You don’t need to have everything figured out before contacting our team. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll help you work through what comes next.
